A new playground for small children will appear just where it’s needed, at the edge of the veranda. We’ll include a new walking bridge that calls for all to come across, regardless of personal style of locomotion.
There will be a place in front at the water’s edge to create your own memorable pose, in the riot of springtime flowers, glorious fall foliage or in the midst of sacred vows.
There will be space for meeting, a hall for greeting, and shade on the veranda for quiet contemplation. There will be room for celebration, for exuberant dancing and your favorite little band.
We’ll even give you a place to put your name on it, to show posterity your support.
Let’s build a place that speaks for us even when we aren’t there — or at least until the next time when the ice is like glass, the night as deep as forever, and glittering stars call to us to circle around again, share first skates with those little ones, just starting their dreams, and fulfilling ours, in the Shelter of each other.
